Alexia Marcelle Abegg was inspired by dreamy fairy tales and fables, antique applique quilts, and traditional house quilt blocks for her Mystic Fable collection. The quirky shapes and animal motifs used in applique quilts at the turn of the century have inspired all of Alexia’s recent collections. These animal shapes inspired the panel print.
