Kim Kight considers herself fortunate to have had a loving and secure childhood. Her father served in the army, and her mother worked as a secretary on base, where they met and married in their early twenties before settling in Northeast Ohio near her paternal grandparents. Her early Christmas memories are filled with building snowmen, wearing 1970s racer-striped snowsuits, and arranging her mother’s Gurley choir singer candles and treasured knickknacks into a manteltop village. Her Christmas collection, Merry Happy is a reflection of those cherished times.
