The earliest iteration of Adelaide’s Song’s delightful pattern appears in one of Liberty’s silk pattern books from 1921. Inspired by the whimsy of a birdsong-filled garden, the Liberty studio has revived the archival design with softly hued, loosely outlined flowers, fruits, and cleverly camouflaged birds perched among the blossoming branches.
