Margie Tillman Ayres is a New Orleans-based artist and designer who founded Margie and the Moon, a studio specializing in murals, illustrations, and surface pattern design. Drawing inspiration from her Mississippi roots, she creates vibrant, nature-inspired designs that reflect the resilient spirit of her local landscape. Margie began her artistic journey with fiber arts taught by her grandmother, later earning degrees from Tulane University and the Savannah College of Art and Design
