The first thing Anna Maria wanted to do with the deeply saturated Indelible Ink collection was to set it alongside the other tones in the Indelible library. This allowed her to blend the colors in a painterly way while also highlighting the contrast between light and dark. The quilt itself is a simple patchwork design that takes a fun spin from the center, featuring large square blocks of fussy-cut moths that gradually move outward into smaller and smaller shapes. It shares some of the same square-and-retangle structure as an optical illusion quilt. However, the spin is more fun than dizzying. The finished size is 75" x 75"
