Last spring I added foxglove plants to my front flower bed. They are so sweet! Beautiful blooms all summer long, and bonus - the deer won’t touch them! I wanted to find some traditional flowers that add a cottage feel to my garden, and foxglove was the perfect addition. It was nice to have the variety in size and shape of the blossoms, and these are important features in quilting, too. Giving your quilts variety in the prints using color, style, and scale will add movement, texture and depth to your projects.
