Aurifil 8wt Cotton Thread

Aurifil's 100% Cotton 8wt/2ply thread comes in 45 of our cotton colours and is wound on a white wooden spool. It is the heaviest weight 2ply thread that we offer and is perfect for hand embroidery, hand quilting, cross stitch, embellishment, Sashiko, redwork, and so much more.

Needle Recommendations:

• Crewel Size 5 / Tapestry Size 24 or 26

Tips:

• Use a short length of thread, around 12”-18”, to reduce tangling
